FusBoxe MMA SAMBO Angel Shannon Culpepper wins ROF 41
FusBoxe Sambo fighter Shannon Culpepper faced Lindsay Jones of Jackson's MMA Saturday Aug 20th 2011. The fight went all three rounds as Culpepper discovered herself in this fight. As her coach I thought Shannon was playing with Lindsay, it turns out that she was simply learning how strong she really is. Shannon is easily the over all strongest female combat sport athlete in Colorado, possibly the Country. I was very happy with Shannon's choice to remain in the ring for the full 3 rounds. This decision allowed for much more learning time than the Sambo Angels normally get.
Shannon dominated all three rounds of the fight and choose to keep it standing. Shannon pushed the pace with striking and utilized her Russian stiking very well. Shannon Culpepper landed two strong shin kicks to the head of Lindsay in round 2 and 3 causing a large gash over the left eye of Jones.
Shannon took the unanimous decision to remain undefeated at 2-0
